Perfect Buoyancy course description
For more information on the Perfect Buoyancy course, read the description below.
We all want to improve our buoyancy. The Perfect Buoyancy Specialty course will help you with that.
The course covers the following topics:
- Obtaining perfect buoyancy underwater
- Improving your trim
- Fin techniques for better positioning in the water
- Correct weight placement
- Doing a proper weight check
- Advanced fin kicking techniques
Each course module will help you improve your buoyancy to become a better diver.
Letβs look at each module and what it covers.
Understand what Matters
We discuss the terms trim, buoyancy, weight placement, and positioning.
This will help us determine which aspects can help in our goal to achieve a better and more relaxed position while diving.
Make sure to use our scuba diving weight calculator to get a headstart here.
Work on Your Skills
Practice makes perfect. A large part of the buoyancy specialty course consists of practicing skills that improve your positioning and balance while diving.
An instructor will watch you and give you tips on how you can improve even further.
At Social Diving, we also put emphasis on proper trim and weight placement. This means instead of just making sure you float correctly, the positioning and balance matter to us.
We are advocates of frog-kick diving and, therefore, make sure all our students learn to use it correctly.
Perfect Buoyancy in Practice
Itβs time to dive!
There are course options for 2 or 4 dives to complete your specialty course. If you already have your Advanced Open Water Diver certification and took the buoyancy dives, they count towards your certification.
Once you passed all the course modules you will receive your Perfect Buoyancy specialty certification!
Congratulations!
Your dive instructor evaluates your skills during and after the course. Once you passed all the course modules, diving practice, and theory tests, you will become a certified Perfect Buoyancy!
Congratulations!
Look like a professional underwater.
