Wreck Diver course description
For more information on the Wreck Diver course, read the description below.
Wrecks are some of the best and most dive spots in the world. They require thorough preparation and planning though.
Our Wreck Diver specialty course will open up this exciting environment to you.
In comparison to other training programs out there, we don’t show you how to swim around wrecks…we teach you to explore them from the inside!
We cover the following modules:
- Introduction to wreck diving
- Find suitable wreck dive spots
- Organising and planning wreck dives
- Safety guidelines
- Wreck dive equipment
- Wreck penetration techniques
- Finning & Silk out practice
- Decompression & gas management
Each course module will teach you more about diving in wrecks and help you become a better wreck diver.
Let’s look at each module and what it covers.
Planning Wreck Dives
Not all wrecks make for suitable dive spots.
We discuss how to select appropriate wrecks for both recreational and technical divers.
If you are interested not only in swimming around wrecks but discovering what’s inside, our wreck penetration techniques will teach you how to do it.
Besides technical aspects, we need to make sure you are aware of legal and safety guidelines concerning wreck diving.
Practice Skills
Practice is very important before starting out with wreck diving.
We teach you proper finning and navigation techniques, introduce silk-out situations, and review mask drills.
Reels and line management is crucial for any diving in wrecks and covers a large part of the course.
Wreck Diver Training
It’s time to dive!
We offer 4-8-dive options to complete your wreck diver course and practice what you have learned.
Please note that these dives are not available at all locations and traveling might be necessary. That’s why we recommend joining our wreck diving tours and trips to complete your training.
Your dive instructor evaluates your skills during and after the course. Once you passed all the course modules, diving practice, and theory tests, you will become a certified Wreck Diver!
Congratulations!
Explore wrecks the right way.
