Finding Dive Spots
Not all rivers make for suitable dive spots. Learn everything you need to find one that is appropriate.
Rivers have unique ecosystems that allow you to observe interesting animals in their natural habitats. We will show you what you can find while diving in rivers.
Planning Your Dives
River dives are often extended drift dives.
Therefore, dive planning is incredibly important. Picking the right dive equipment, selecting the entry and exit points, and organizing pick-ups are part of this module.
We also provide examples of different types of rivers that you can dive in. This helps you enjoy your dives more, conserve air and make smart decisions underwater.
River Diver Training
It’s time to dive!
We offer 2-and 4-dive options to complete your river diver course and practice what you have learned. Please note that these dives are not available at all locations and traveling might be necessary.
If you passed all the course modules and the theory test, you will receive your River Diver specialty certification!

Your dive instructor evaluates your skills during and after the course. Once you passed all the course modules, diving practice, and theory tests, you will become a certified River Diver!
