The Maldives, Elphinstone in Egypt, and Richelieu Rock in Thailand are considered some of the best places to dive where you will encounter strong currents.
It also comes in handy when going liveaboard diving!

Theory of Currents
Before going diving in currents, it is interesting and fun to understand more about how they are created, when and where they occur, and what they offer to divers.
Many cool animals and sea creatures like currents and frequently occur in them.
Sharks, Mantas, and others are pretty much certain sights so knowing how to dive in currents is great if you want to have a better chance at spotting them.
Planning Your Dives
If you know you will encounter currents at a dive spot you need to plan ahead.
Using tide tables, wind charts, and other tools you will learn to make your diving safe and more fun.
