Welcome to the Discover Suba Diving event at Social Diving. 😃
Try out scuba diving with us in a shallow pool, an exciting indoor dive center, or outside in a lake or the sea!
We will introduce you to the world of diving without pressure and commitment to do a full course right away.
An experienced instructor will be with you at all times while you can focus on one thing: Enjoy your first diving experience!
Trust us, you will never forget the first time breathing underwater! It is an incredible feeling, unlike anything you have ever done before.
Oh…and it’s also a lot of fun! Your discover scuba diving event (usually called a DSD) will cover the following:
- How to breathe underwater using scuba equipment
- How to communicate underwater using hand signals
- Putting on scuba gear for the first time
- Floating underwater like a fish
- 45-75 minutes of diving!
- How to become a certified diver and go diving anywhere in the world

Essential skills as a diver
Although this is not a full course on diving, there are some skills that every diver needs to have. They are very easy and fun and will give you an outlook on what to expect when signing up for an Open Water Diver course!
The scuba skills always take place in a shallow part of the water. If you picked the pool or indoor diving center option, all we have to do is kneel on the bottom after we walked into the water.
If you choose to join us outside in a lake or the sea, your dive instructor will find an appropriate spot.
Time To Dive
It’s time to go diving! After all, that’s what you came for.
We will show you how to move and float underwater effortlessly and how to control your depth. An instructor will be with you at all times while you are free to explore this new and exciting feeling.
Make a backflip, swim backward, or take a selfie. It’s up to you!

Your dive instructor evaluates your skills during and after the course. Once you passed all the course modules, diving practice, and theory tests, you will become a certified Discover Scuba Diving!
