You love diving…and you love your kids. And you like it when they have fun…and to have a little quiet time yourself. 😉
Take them diving. It’s the best thing ever invented for parents! Diving with kids is always fun but you need to understand how it is different from diving with adults.
The course covers the following topics:
- Diving with kids & families
- Safety standards & training guidelines
- Legal regulations & laws regarding children diving
- Diving equipment for children
- How to pick the right dive centers & locations for kids
The course modules will make sure you are prepared to go diving with your family and children.

Diving with Kids
Diving with kids is fun.
They get to exercise, go outside and you share a common hobby! We tell you what you need to look out for before taking your kids scuba diving.
Dive equipment for kids
Should you buy scuba gear for children? As a family diver, you will ask yourself this question sooner or later.
We will show you how to pick appropriate diving gear without having to buy new pieces too often.
You will also learn how to get scuba gear as a family, how to save money by reusing certain equipment pieces, and what not to do. This will make diving for and with your kids much safer and easier for everyone.
Diving with family and kids
It’s time to dive! If you choose the optional dives with your kids you will now get to practice what you have learned.
This is great in combination with your children’s Junior Open Water Diver course. Practice diving together from day one!
Please remember though, you have to bring your own kids for this. 😀 Once you passed all the course modules and the theory exam, you will become a certified Family Diver!
